Modern Condition Monitoring Systems for Railway Wheel set Dynamics: Performance Analysis and Limitations of Existing Techniques

The rapid rise in railroad transport across the world demands an improved service form of safety, comfort, reliability and cost-effectiveness. For improvement reliability, efficiency; sophisticated condition monitoring systems (CMS) have become important part modern railway operations. CMS for vehicles involves techniques including model-based signal-based detection faults which assists preventing system from any major failure. core element a is use suitable algorithms to evaluate behavior achieving solution avoid accidents involving vehicles. This paper attempts compare existing state art applied real-time wheel-set dynamics. In addition, recommendations are presented future research efforts this area.
